Performance and Scaling

Performance work on bijux-canon-reason should preserve the behaviors the package already promises. Faster execution is not an improvement if it makes reasoning outputs and verification behavior harder to trust or harder to reproduce.

What To Check

  • optimize the owned path, not whichever boundary happens to be easiest to touch
  • treat artifact or contract drift as a regression even when throughput improves
  • tie performance claims back to repeatable workloads and executable checks

First Proof Check

  • pyproject.toml, README.md, and boundary-facing entrypoints for checked-in operating truth
  • tests and runnable workflows for executable confirmation that the runbook still works
  • release notes and version metadata when the work changes caller expectations

Bottom Line

If bijux-canon-reason cannot be operated repeatably under change, the operational documentation is still incomplete.
